Ten Mile is small campground, a quick 48 mile drive from Boise, Idaho, along State Highway 21 on the Idaho City Ranger District of the Boise National Forest. The campground is about 10 miles past the Historic Idaho City and is split into two sections (Upper and Lower) by the highway. This area is known for its beautiful old forest of Ponderosa Pine. Wildflowers abound in the summer months. Fishing opportunities in Mores Creek and some campsites have creek access.
The campground sites have campfire rings, picnic tables and a vault toilet, and a hand pump for potable water.
Water from hand pump is tested monthly for contaminants and will be abruptly shut off if not currently potable. Please plan accordingly with your own water supply in case of a shut off during your stay.
Pets must be on a leash at all times.
Campfires are allowed in fire rings ONLY, unless fire restrictions are in place. Contact Idaho City Ranger District for updates regarding fire restrictions.
Quiet hours are from 10pm-6am
No trash service: Pack-in-Pack-out
Reservations cancelled last minute due to weather or smoke conditions will not be refunded unless campground is closed to the public
Generators only permitted from 6am-10pm.
Sites 1, 8, 9, 10, and 15 are adjacent and within close proximity to Highway 21.
Sites 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, and 15 have direct access to creek.
Closest cell service is in Idaho City (approx. 10 miles) or Mores Creek Summit (approx. 5 miles)

There are numerous opportunities to go hiking, biking, horseback rising and ride off-road vehicles within a short car ride away. In the winter the area is a playgound for winter sports including cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

From Idaho City travel State Highway 21 north for about 10 miles to the campground. There are signed entrances on the left and right sides of the road, as this campground is divided on either side of the highway.
