Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park Site Pass

Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park

Black Canyon of the Gunnison encourages you to purchase a digital site pass in advance (available between May 01 and September 30 each year) to reduce lines at the entrance. The park also accepts payment at the park during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). Visit the park's Fees & Passes page for more information and the Current Conditions page for road and other closures before purchasing the pass.

Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if:

This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Show your paper copy of the digital entrance pass, with dates and name matching your identification, to the park entrance. Sorry, we are not able to scan or honor QR codes.

All visitors 16 years of age and older must be covered by an entrance fee or pass. Please be prepared to show your physical pass.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison charges an entrance fee per vehicle. Individual Pedestrian/Cyclist passes are only required for persons entering without a vehicle.

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

Digital passes are highly encouraged. They protect you and our staff and help the entrance line move more quickly.

If you plan to visit the North Rim area of the Black Canyon you must print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard. Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should be prepared to present a pass to NPS staff upon request. Because of limited payment options at the North Rim the park strongly recommends the purchase of a digital pass.
