Haleakala National Park also accepts payment in person and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). This entrance pass does NOT include the summit sunrise. Book a separate Summit Sunrise reservation up to 60 days in advance. For more information, visit the park's Fees & Passes web page. 

THE VEHICLE ENTRANCE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE A SUNRISE RESERVATION. A separate reservation is required to enter the park in time (between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.) to view the sunrise at the summit. Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if you: 

• Have a valid America the Beautiful-the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands annual or lifetime (interagency) pass (e.g., Senior, 4th Grade, Military, etc.), OR
• Are planning to get an annual or lifetime pass when you arrive (review options in the link above). 

Please ensure you have selected the correct pass before you proceed to payment.

• The Haleakalā National Park Private Vehicle, Motorcycle and Pedestrian/Cyclist Passes covers unlimited entry for one vehicle/motorcycle and passenger(s) for 3 consecutive days, ONLY at Haleakalā National Park, beginning on the start date you select.
• The Hawai'i Tri-Park Annual Pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase at Haleakalā National Park PLUS Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park. None of the other national park units in the state of Hawaiʻi charges an entrance fee. 

Haleakalā National Park requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children under 16 years of age.

Please be prepared to show your site pass on your mobile device (or printed on paper). Connectivity is limited in some parts of the park, so have a downloaded copy or hard copy available at all times.

Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
